Description
An authentic hand-painted vintage scene depicting a “Șezătoare”—a traditional Romanian social and craft gathering—in the historic Maramureș region. The painting features three women in classic regional folk dress, including black headscarves (batic) and striped aprons (catrință), capturing a quiet moment of communal heritage. This piece is part of a series documenting the ethnographic traditions of Northern Romania. It is housed in a deep-set black wooden frame with a shadow-box profile. The back includes the original handwritten title and region in Romanian, along with the original jute hanging loop.
