Description
Vintage American stoneware utility jug, likely produced in the late 19th to early 20th century, consistent with the classic “beehive” jug form widely made by regional American potteries. Two-tone glaze finish: plain buff/tan lower body with darker, speckled brown glaze pooling across the shoulder and dome. Cylindrical body with domed, cone-shaped shoulder and narrow spouted neck, likely used for whiskey, vinegar, or oil storage. Unglazed bisque base with light kiln grit; no legible maker’s stamp. Sold as-is with all associated patina and wear.
