Design & Craftsmanship
Function & Form: Beehive-form jug with domed shoulder, cylindrical body, narrow neck, and small applied strap handle. 8″H x 6.5″W, 1″ opening.
Artistry & Ornamentation: No painted decoration; glaze is an olive-tan mottled wash typical of wood/ash-fired salt glaze.
Structural Base: Unglazed footring, visible throwing rings, buff-tan stoneware body.

Condition Report
Surface Condition: Natural firing pits and age-consistent patina throughout.
Structural Integrity: A hairline separation is visible at the handle-to-neck joint. Handle with care; this is a structural note, not purely cosmetic. This item is sold “as-is” with all associated patina and wear inherent to its age and history.
