Description
Antique stoneware jug in the classic “beehive”/”ball” form, two-tone glaze: dark brown/black glazed shoulder and dome transitioning to a plain cream/white glazed body below. Retains original wire bail handle with turned wood grip, attached through small lugs set into the clay at the shoulder, along with its original cork stopper. Historically used for storing whiskey, cider, or vinegar. No visible maker’s mark. Sold as-is with all associated patina and wear.
