Overview
Hungarian/Transylvanian bokály featuring a bold geometric patchwork decoration, arranged in quilt-like panels around the lower body, distinct from more common floral folk motifs. The base carries an incised workshop or pattern mark.

Design & Craftsmanship
Function & Form: Trumpet-neck jug with strap handle carrying a painted zigzag motif. 9″H x 4.5″W, 3.25″ opening.
Artistry & Ornamentation: Cream slip ground with dark brown/black outlined geometric panels filled with solid green, ochre, cross-hatch lattice, and nested squares; leaf cluster and banded rim at the neck.
Structural Base: Unglazed footring with an incised workshop/pattern mark (“A” + two tick marks).
